All gear included. 5 Day course after reaching the P3 (Paragliding intermediate soaring level). North Shore or South Shore depending on weather conditions and time of the year.
Parakites are high-speed, maneuverable wings designed for dynamic dune/coastal soaring with unique hand-controlled risers for fast dives and climbs, while traditional paragliders prioritize long-distance glide ratios and hang-time with foot-operated speed-bars and conventional brakes, offering more stability and ascent potential but less agility than parakites' reflex profiles. Think of paragliders as efficient gliders and parakites as high-energy, agile sports wings for close-to-terrain fun, not XC (cross-country gliders).
PARAKITING PROGRESSION I made this 11 videos progression starting from the standpoint of a totally new pilot tackling a new sport in spite of my Paragliding experience as a USHPA Certified Advanced Paragliding Instructor. No thrills nor stunts, but rather a careful humble progression over the Winter months searching for low elevation sites/bluffs (5 to 10’ high), and discovering new locations which was exciting.
