Learning to Paraglide before tackling Parakiting

Long Island can offer excellent soaring coastal conditions for both Paragliding and ParaKiting but it is important to understand that a PK wing is not a PG glider even if in appreance they look similar. Learning the Paragliding basics is the safe way to approach ParaKiting.
